What will USC-1000 keep from sticking?
USC-1000 is resistant to all petro-chemicals, solvents and paints.  USC-1000 will also prevent all food stuffs,
dirt and grime from sticking.  USC-1000 is a perfect coating for manufacturing environments where metal
filings or other sticky materials may end up on the walls.

How do I remove graffiti from an USC-1000 coated surface?
On a surface coated with USC-1000, graffiti may be removed by a couple of methods.  In many cases paint
will flake off with a simple water power wash.  If there is any residual “ghosting” or faint marker and
paint shadows remaining, you can use simple household cleaners such as our Endurance Bio-Barrier
Cleaner or Fantastik   .

What types of surfaces can USC-1000 be applied to?
USC-1000 may be put on virtually any substrate,  brick, latex or oil based paints, wood (both painted and
unpainted), concrete, fiberglass, ferrous metals, as well as stucco.

Will USC-1000 yellow over time?
No, USC-1000 is exceptionally UV stable and will not yellow.

Once mixed, what is the working time of USC-1000?
USC-1000 has a 4 hour pot life.

How do I clean up after application of USC-1000?
USC-1000 must be cleaned when wet.  Methyl Ethyl Keytone (MEK) or equivalent should be used.  If
product cures on unwanted surfaces or equipment it can only be removed by abrasion.

What is the best way to apply USC-1000?
We recommend the use of either an airless or air assisted spray system as USC-1000 is designed specifically
for this equipment.

How vigorously should I combine the two components of USC-1000?
Care should be taken when blending the A and B components.  The best method for small batches (quarts
and gallons) is slow manual stirring with a regular paint stick.  This method may take a bit longer, but it
will yield much better results.  Do not use a shaking machine as it will whip air into the blend creating
bubbles that will be difficult to remove.  Larger batches may require a mechanical stirring device used on a
low setting, again, avoiding whipping air into the blend.
Blend two components for 5 minutes - Let stand for  5 minutes - Blend again for 5 minutes. Once blended,
let USC-1000 stand for 3 minutes prior to pouring into spray equipment.

What are the differences between the Endurance Bio-Barrier   (EBB) formulae?
Endurance Bio-Barrier   Industrial is formulated for large volume Original Equipment Manufacturers
(OEMs).

Endurance Bio-Barrier   Zero VOC is free of all Volatile Organic Compounds (the smell that comes from
paint and solvent products).  It is perfect for schools, hospitals, recreational facilities and homes.

Endurance Bio-Barrier   Textiles is formulated for direct skin contact. This product is designed to be
compatible with virtually all natural and synthetic fibers.  The addition of this product will not change the
color, look, or feel of the fabric.  We have tested over 150 different types of carpet fibers including Nylon 6
and Natural wool with excellent results.  Endurance Bio-Barrier    bonds to all of them.

What does “Moisture-Activated” mean?
Mold and mildew can only grow when there is moisture present.  Virtually all mold and mildew products
on the market today will wash away when moisture is present.  Our unique polymer is not water soluble; it
softens when moist and allows our active ingredients to go to work.  Endurance Bio-Barrier    is designed
to work when mold and mildew is at its worst.

Is Endurance Bio-Barrier   Toxic?
No, it is a water based product.  Our unique delivery system allows us to use the lowest amount of active
ingredients possible. Endurance Bio-Barrier   has ultra low toxicity when wet, it is NON-TOXIC when dry,
and safe for children and pets. Toxicity and biological test data available on request.

Does Endurance Bio-Barrier   encapsulate mold?
No. Encapsulation technologies work only once on the affected area.  Our product actually eliminates the
spores and microbes and will work hundreds of times in the same area.

What are molds?
Molds are tiny microscopic organisms that digest organic matter and reproduce by releasing spores. Molds
are a type of fungi and there are over 100,000 species. In nature, mold helps decompose or break-down
leaves, wood and other plant debris. Molds become a problem when they go where they are not wanted
and digest materials such as our homes.

Where does mold come from and what environments do mold and mildew live in?
Mold enters your home as tiny spores. The spores need moisture to begin growing, digesting and
destroying. Molds can grow on almost any surface, including; wood, ceiling tiles, wallpaper, paints, carpet,
sheet rock, and insulation.  Mold grows best when there is lots of moisture from a leaky roof, high
humidity, or flood. There is no way to get rid of all molds and mold spores from your home. But you can
control mold growth by keeping your home dry.

How does one become exposed to mold?
When molds are disturbed, they release spores into the air. You can be exposed by breathing air containing
these mold spores. You can also be exposed through touching moldy items, eating moldy food or accidental
hand to mouth contact.

Can mold affect your health?
Most molds do not harm healthy people, but people who have allergies or asthma may be more sensitive to
molds. Sensitive people may experience skin rash, running nose, eye irritation, cough, nasal congestion,
aggravation of asthma or difficulty breathing. People with an immune suppression or underlying lung
disease may be at increased risk for infections from molds.

A small number of molds produce toxins called mycotoxins. When people are exposed to high levels of
mold mycotoxins they may suffer toxic effects, including fatigue, nausea, headaches, and irritation to the
lungs and eyes. If you or your family members have health problems that you suspect are caused by
exposure to mold, you should consult with your physician.

When is mold a problem?
You know you have mold when you smell the "musty" odor or see small black or white specks along your
damp bathroom or basement walls. Some mold is hidden growing behind wall coverings or ceiling tiles.
Even dry, dead mold can cause health problems, so always take precautions when you suspect mold.

Mold is often found in areas where water has damaged building materials and furniture from flooding or
plumbing leaks. Mold can also be found growing along walls where warm moist air condenses on cooler
wall surfaces, such as inside cold exterior walls, behind dressers, headboards, and in closets where articles
are stored against walls. Mold often grows in rooms with both high water usage and humidity, such as
kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. If you notice mold or know of water damaged areas
in your home, it is time to take action to control its growth.

How do you prepare a surface for Endurance Bio-Barrier   ?
The use of Endurance Bio-Barrier   Cleaner is recommended for surface prep.  This product is specially
formulated to remove mold, mildew and surface contaminants.  Rinses clean with minimal water usage.

Will Endurance Bio-Barrier   control odor?
Yes, it will virtually eliminate all odors caused by mold, mildew and organics.

What does “Bio-Door Technology” mean?
Bio-Door Technology is the commercial name of the polymer in Endurance Bio-Barrier  .  It is essentially
the delivery system we use to keep the active ingredients on the substrate surface in a partially bio-
available state or, under the right moisture conditions, fully bio-available.

What is “Bio-Availability”?
It is a state when the active chemical ingredient of a product can come in direct physical contact with an
organic.

What is currently being used on the market?
There are hundreds of quality products that eliminate mold.  Some may have even have limited residual
efficacy.
No product on the market has the long term ability to inhibit the growth of mold that
Endurance Bio-Barrier    does.

Who is currently using the product?
Professional Mold remediation companies, Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Hotels and Recreation Facilities.

What is the effective coverage of Endurance Bio-Barrier   ?
Endurance Bio-Barrier   will cover up to 1,500 square feet per gallon at 1 mil.

How long can Endurance Bio-Barrier   last on a surface?
Endurance Bio-Barrier   can last up to six months on a surface if undisturbed by abrasion or chemicals.  The
longest lasting protection available anywhere!

What is a polymer?
n. Any of numerous natural and synthetic compounds of usually high molecular weight consisting of up to
millions of repeated linked units, each a relatively light and simple molecule.  They are like building blocks.

The polymer in our case would look like window screen mesh. When moisture is present, the holes are
present and our active ingredients would be poking up a bit.  When moisture is present this mesh softens
and the active ingredients become full exposed or bio-available.

How does our polymer work in Endurance Bio-Barrier   ?
The polymer is the binding agent that keeps our active ingredients bound to the surface.

Does Endurance Bio-Barrier    really control odor?
Yes, it is an extremely powerful odor controller.  Because the products inhibit the growth of biological
material which is the source of most odors.

What is LLIC?
Long Lasting Inhibiting Coatings. This was a term made to describe the class of product Endurance Bio-
Barrier   is in as there are no other products on the market that perform this way.

What is the shelf life of Endurance Bio-Barrier   ?
Endurance Bio-Barrier   is shelf stable for two years but the product must be protected from freezing or the
polymer will separate.

What will remove Endurance Bio-Barrier   ?
Abrasive and Caustic cleaners will remove the coating.  Cleaning protocols must be changed to include a
mild neutral acid (ph7) cleaner in order for Endurance Bio-Barrier  to remain effective.

Are there safety issues regarding Endurance Bio-Barrier   ?
As with all household chemicals, this product should be kept away from small children.  In its wet state, if a
small amount is ingested it may cause some digestive distress.  When the product is dry on the surface it is
non-toxic.

Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles Questions:
TM
Can Endurance Bio-Barrier   Textiles be used in conjunction with other fabric treatments for odor and
stain releasing agents?
Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles can be used in conjunction with StainMaster   improving its performance.
Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles should not be used in conjunction with any enzyme based products as it
will neutralize them.  Enzymatic odor control will not be needed with Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles.

Where in the manufacturing process do we apply Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles?
There are a couple of options. You may run the thread through a cooling bath of Endurance Bio-Barrier
Textiles instead of water.  The heat will bond the product to the fibers making a protected product as it is
woven.  Finished carpet may be dipped and roller squeegee, when finished, coating both fiber, blocking
and backing.  Spraying finished material with a light mist will also protect the fibers.

How many times will Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles prevent mold, mildew and odor from re-growing
on the same area?
This product will work through literally hundreds of wet/dry cycles on the same spot. Endurance
Bio-Barrier    Textiles is bio-available when moisture is present allowing for a bloom of mold or mildew,
this product becomes significantly more active to prevent any growth.

Are there any other benefits of Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles over and above mold and mildew
protection?
Yes, since Endurance Bio-Barrier    Textiles is carried in an ultra light polymer it seals imperfections in
carpet fiber and makes it significantly more dirt and stain resistant.  It will reduce static charges allowing
dirt to release better.  It also provides UV protection.

AR-1000  Anti-Rust Coating Questions:
How does AR-1000 work?
The unique formulation of AR-1000 creates a molecular bond directly with the rusty surface. As AR-1000
cures, it chelates the oxygen from the rust converting it back to iron.

Can AR-1000 be used as a rust preventative?
Yes, AR-1000 will last indefinitely as a rust inhibitor and will bond aggressively to any metal surface.

Do I need to prepare or pre-treat the rusty surface before using AR-1000?
Only the heavy scale or flakes need to be removed, as AR-1000 bonds to rust very aggressively.

What colors are supplied?
At this time, AR-1000 comes in clear and aluminum gray. Other colors are being formulated.

Can I paint over AR-1000?
There is a four hour window in which a top coat can be applied. Any latex or oil base paint will adhere in
that timeframe.

What if there is paint as well as rust? Will I need to remove the paint to the bare metal, or can I paint
over it?
If the paint is intact and bonding to the surface well, then AR-1000 can be applied to both surfaces. Any
loose, chips, or scale should be removed first.

What is the shelf life of AR-1000?
Unopened AR-1000 will last indefinitely. Once opened, AR-1000 should be used within a four hour period.

Do I need to add thinners or solvents to AR-1000?
No, AR-1000 is a ready to use formulation.
ICB-100 Iron and Copper Stain Bleach Questions:
What types of staining does ICB-100 remove?
ICB-100 removes ferrous metal stains (rust) from concrete, brick, mortar, painted and unpainted cement
block and stucco.  ICB-100 also removes the green copper sulfate staining from the same substrates.

How do I apply ICB-100?
We recommend the use of a brush to “paint” ICB-100 on liberally.  Do not spray ICB-100 as the over spray
may be harmful.   Once the stain has faded, rinse the application area with fresh water to stop the
bleaching process.

How long does ICB-100 take to work?
Results will vary depending on the depth and darkness of the stain.  In many cases you will see instant
results.  Deep stains may take up to 24 hours to fade, and, in some difficult stains, repeat applications may
be needed

What protective measures should I take when using ICB-100?
As with all chemicals, we recommend the use of safety glasses, rubber gloves and a protective suit as ICB-
100 is corrosive and will damage clothing.
